Helideck Construction and Revamp

Our services in this area requires us to Provide site inspections and recommendations for helidecks to ensure compliance to the latest design code (CAP437). We also Carry out detailed studies and design for existing helidecks intending to undergo upgrading and refurbishing works.

Helideck Audit/ Inspection

We are committed to assisting our clients achieve standard and safety, through the most cost-effective ways that conforms to International Best Practice. With our experienced team of Helideck inspectors who have had the opportunity to inspect and audit several helidecks/helipads across Africa we will continuously work with our clients to achieve standard, safe and cost-effective ways of carrying out daily operations.

We inspect Helideck using the International Standard for Helideck and we have successfully assisted several of our clients to obtain the statutory body NCAA certification for their helideck/helipad. We also provide comprehensive and detailed reports with recommendations for better conformance and cost reductions.

Helideck Surface Friction Test

In-line with the mandatory UKCAA regulations, CAP 437, we support helideck operators to ensure that the friction of helideck surfaces is tested and certified to be within the safe operational limit for a stipulated time frame. These tests are carried out annually or in some cases this test is meant to be carried out annually or in a space of 12-36 months as may be stated by the helideck inspector.

Helideck Perimeter Safety Net Testing and Replacement

We are equipped and trained on the process of carrying out and reporting the condition of Helideck perimeter safety net. We have deployed this service to several clients as a safety measure in guaranteeing the lifespan of the helideck safety. This method is a more precise medium of determining the expiration of a safety net, instead of just waiting to observe physical damage, and eliminate the potential risk of having operators cover the net with paint so as to contain corrosion.

We also supply and revamp Perimeter safety nets which are in full compliance with the CAP437 and UK Oil & Gas guidance.

Helideck Landing Beacons and Lights

We employ a wide range of offshore landing facilities including touchdown lighting systems, position and circle markings. Our Helideck systems are installed in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
We understand the safety associated with the continuation of your helideck operations and as such we provide effective and reliable visual cues for pilots at night and during poor visibility. This lighting system includes Circle-H, Perimeter lights, Floodlights, Status light and also windsocks.

Helideck Landing Net

We supply Helideck Landing nets which is in compliance with CAP 437 Standards for Offshore Helicopter Landing Areas Chapter 3 7.3 states – “It is preferable that the rope is constructed of sisal, with a maximum mesh size of 200 mm.”

Helideck Crash Box and Accessories

In circumstances, lives could be lost if simple ancillary rescue equipment is not readily available.  Therefore, the CAA strongly recommends the provision of at least the following equipment.  In line with this standard, we render services and supplies to our clients nationwide.

We supply various ranges of materials that makes up every pilot’s starter pack.

Helicopter Chock

In Compliance with IATA AHM462 standard, we supply quality Chocks that can   withstands a pressure of 200 tons, improves ramp operations, that are Weather and abrasion resistant, also Resistant to aircraft fuels, oils, and lubricants, and they Will not rot, crack or splinter like wood to clients.

Provision of Manpower

We provide our clients with the necessary manpower such as HLO’s, and other crucial workers for both offshore and onshore jobs.

Non-Directional Beacon (NDB) Systems

We also supply our clients with NDB systems, for They have continued to provide a fundamental and reliable means of aircraft navigation despite the arrival of GNSS and modern ground-based systems.
